Thing#5 E-mail

I have been emailing in our home for quite a few years. I enjoy receiving emails informing me of "get togethers" coming up between friends. However, some things that really annoy me are forwards, other than "cute sayings" that think that I wouldn't dare vote for certain people. This is only because the sender thinks their way is right and everyone else's doesn't count. There is a certain amount of emails that I would never open. There is also something to say that we should still write letters to our friends out there.

Thing 4 What's Fun About Flickr

Finally, with the help of a good friend, I have my pictures in Flickr. This is quite neat to do. Hope to be learning more about this with my photos.

Thing #3 RSS

Now I can keep up with blogs added in RSS. Hate having to miss the news from our favorite tv station so this is nice! Also have a couple blogs that we learn about news from someone in our family living miles and miles away.

Thing 2

Watched the video by Stephen Abrams and learned of some of his favorite sites and that we should, at least, spend 15 minutes each day exploring some of these sites. I attended the Web 2.0 at Mankato on the 14th of this month and listened to Leann Suchy who gave us lots of information about getting into these sites.
